Ian K Townsley, a native British Sign Language (BSL) user and respected linguist established Millennium Advanced Communication and Equality (M2ACE) in 1999 to teach British Sign Language NVQ level 3 & 4 to students from the north of England.

Celebrating 10 years in business this year, it seemed only fitting to spruce up the company image and as a result You-Sign was born! Apart from the new website, we now have a dedicated Facebook page and offer a far wider range of services than before including:

• BSL linguistic workshops
  
• Sign Language development to BSL level 3 & 4 progressing to evidence collection for NVQ portfolios
  
• Workshops for Communication Support Workers and Interpreters
• Deaf Equality and Awareness training

These workshops and courses are regularly attended by students from across the UK!

Satisfied customers include many qualified and registered interpreters who have studied under Ian and organisations such Leeds City Council, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, The University of Sheffield, Doncaster Primary Care Trust and GNER.
