Whether you are producing a signed translation of an existing information video or publication, or starting completely from scratch; our aim is to make BSL video production an easy and cost effective process:
BSL Video Production from Printed Material
If you are currently using written English printed material to promote your organisation and its products or services Access Communication will have that information examined by qualified sign language interpreters, who will provide an accurate translation into BSL and clearly communicate your message on camera for a deaf audience to understand. This printed information will also be succinctly precised into bullet points and combined on screen with the signing as subtitles for the hard of hearing.
Adapting Existing Video Programmes
If you are currently using a spoken English video programme to explaining or promote your services, then why not simply supply us with a copy of your existing master tape on DVcam format tape and a text file of the script for the voice-over, plus transcripts of any interviews, and we will supply you with a new BSL signed & English subtitled master tape as well as duplicates for distribution on either VHS or DVD.
Bespoke BSL video projects
Should you wish to embark upon a research or documentary programme which has BSL as its first language and involves contributions from deaf people, then Access Communication will advise on the overall scripting process and facilitate the bringing together and recording of appropriate interviewees. Appropriate voice-overs will be sourced for the contributors and recordings combined into a powerful duel communication programme accessible to a hearing audience.
